Birdwatching for Beginners: Mitchell Creek(Youth Event for Ages 10-16 Years)

A guided walk designed for young people aged 10-16 years.

Birdwatching for Beginners is a relaxed walk along Mitchell Creek. It’s a chance to explore the biodiversity of our creeks while learning how to spot birds and take part in simple survey work.

Each walk is guided by Mitch Rose, a local youth worker, birdwatcher and advocate for our natural spaces.

Bring your hat, walking shoes, water bottle, sunscreen and snacks.

The meeting location will be shared on RSVP.
The uneven terrain throughout the route is not suitable for wheelchairs.

These walks are about noticing local birdlife, learning practical skills and connecting with nature through quiet observation.

$5.00

Guardians are welcome to attend. All attendees require a ticket.
