10 - 16 years: Bird watching for beginners at Rapid Creek

  • Rapid Creek Jingili Skate Park - Freshwater Road Jingili, NT, 0810 Australia (map)

Have you always wanted to know more about our top end birds, and how to spot and identify them?

These school holidays, come along to a fun and relaxed bird walk led by Mitch Rose, a local bird watcher and youth worker for an introduction into how to spot and identify the native birds in our local urban creeks.

We’ll provide binoculars to borrow and a bird list to take home —no experience needed.

This is a great way to get outdoors, learn something new, and connect with nature.

Suitable for 10 - 16 years.

Things to bring:
Remember to be SunSmart - wear sunscreen and a hat.
Bring or wear insect repellent.
Water bottle.
Snacks.
Wear clothes and shoes appropriate for walking and sitting outdoors.

Parents/guardians can join the walk, but please include your attendance in the form below.
