Share an afternoon of memories, stories and creativity at the Palmerston Library as we gather the moments that connect people to their local creeks.
This community workshop invites people of all ages to bring the photos, drawings or memories that matter to them and help build a growing archive of local knowledge and connection.
Throughout the session you can take part in storytelling activities, add to a shared memory map, look through old creek pictures, or bring your own to have them scanned and preserved. It is a meaningful way to spend time with others, reflect on the creeks that shape our neighbourhoods, and contribute to a community record that continues to grow. You can also share your story online at CreekConnections.org
The workshop is guided by Landcare NT with support from the City of Palmerston. The venue is wheelchair accessible and light snacks will be provided.
Each workshop offers a simple way to reconnect with the creeks we share and contribute to a collective story shaped by community.
